Christmas Fair in Kirkby Lonsdale this weekend – 1 & 2 December!

The annual two-day Kirkby Lonsdale Christmas Fair is all set for this weekend!  The Grand event will see locals and visitors enjoy festive shopping, food and drink.  Father Christmas and his helpers are led through the town by a brass band, switching on all the Christmas lights, as if by magic!

On Saturday, Santa's Grotto will also be in the Market Square in Kirkby Lonsdale, where there will be a small fair for the children, in addition to stalls and street entertainment.  On Sunday, you will be able to view all the different interpretations of Father Christmas.  It's a truly wonderful weekend of Christmas fun for all the family!

Of course, Abrahams will be at the heart of the celebrations, placed on Market Square in the very centre of the town, we will be able to join in all the fun!  In the shop, we have been busily decorating with foliage and frosting to ensure the store looks festive and welcoming.  All of our stock is now in for the season and we are bursting to the rafters with elegant pieces for ladies and gentlemen, in addition to luxury fragrances, skincare and accessories.

4 Weeks to go and George recommends……

Our new puppy George has certainly got an eye for the elegant and has been taking a good look around the store for his next recommendation in the countdown to Christmas.  As usual, Abrahams have come up with a very unique product, ideal for the perfect stocking filler.

New in-store are these fabulous men’s cotton handkerchief’s from British company, Spencer Bryson.  The business was established in 1891, and today, over 115 years later, they remain the UK market leader in cotton and linen handkerchiefs, as well as exporting around the world.

Priced at only £2 each, it’s a small price to pay for an accessory as beautiful as this and as you can imagine, interest is high!  Not only are these wonderful for use as handkerchiefs, but also for neckerchiefs, with one of our customers actually buying one as a neckerchief for her dog! 

It’s little wonder therefore, that George selected these as his ‘recommendation of the week’.  I suspect there might just be a Spencer Bryson gift in his stocking this Christmas!
